Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser agent string to help with spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also known as a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify that you are using it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible publicly in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to your site, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Site visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the site.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our website, you can choose to have your name, email address and website saved in cookies. This is for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your information again when you leave another comment. These cookies will be stored for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to verify that your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set several cookies to save your login information and screen selection. The login cookies last for two days and the screen option cookies last for one year. How long we keep your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognize and approve any subsequent comments instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.
